Garmin 

Real-time sensor streams from Garmin wearables by using the Companion SDK for Android and Apple®. Current activity data, such as step counts, or subscribe to livestreams of heart rate, stress scores, accelerometer and more. The Companion SDK pairs  but is separate in function to the all-day health and fitness activity data provided by the Health API (see Web API Connectors below), giving you the combined power of episodic and historic data to drive your unique program features.

Fitbit

Fitbit Web API is a poll (pull) REST-API providing access to (either Daily Summary or Intraday Fitbit data). Web API docs https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/

Requests for Intraday access requires a partnership API token and must be made from Fitbit via https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/intraday-requests/

Note: The newer Fitbit Subscription API, has not presently been integrated the subscription Fitbit API https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/subscriptions/ but is on the integration roadmap.

Garmin Health API 

(note different from Garmin Companion SDK)

The Health API is a subscribe (push) REST-API and is provided for accessing Garmin intraday data. Provides allows for historic backfill and near real-time publication of all the diverse metrics logged by Garmin wearables.
